IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level 3 NICU at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN!

Position Details:

  • Full-time, rotating schedule
  • 10, 16 and 24-hour shifts (day shift for at least 6 months- then can transition to nights)
  • 100% inpatient
  • 60 bed level 4 NICU and 45 level 3 bed NICU
  • Join a team of 30 physicians and 80 APPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend deliveries of high-risk neonatal patients
  • Care for neonatal patients requiring ICU level care; develop plan of care 
  • Perform procedures including intubations, line placements, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement and management, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis. 
  • In collaboration with Riley's Neonatologists and subspecialty consulting physicians, provision of clinical management for level 3 and 4 NICU patients

The position will require travel, however, mileage will be reimbursable.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Night Shifts:  Three 12-hour shifts 
    • Float (IU Health University, Methodist, West, North, Saxony and Tipton Hospitals)
    • Site dependent and may include one of the following shifts: 4p-4a, 6p-6a or 7p-7a.
