IU Health Physicians is hiring for an Advanced Practice Provider Director for our Department of Pediatrics! This will be a primarily administrative position and will report to the Chairman in the Department of Pediatrics. This position will oversee IU Health Physicians Riley Hospital at the Academic Health Center, IU Health Physicians Riley at North Hospital, and our Pediatric Care Center. 

Position Details:

  • Full time, Monday - Friday
  • Provides clinical and operational support to the Advanced Providers of one or more Service Lines.
  • Takes direction and collaborates with Senior Leadership, plans and directs the clinical activities for advanced practice providers of the of the Service Line(s).
  • Oversees adherence to organization policies and state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Supervises advanced providers and all other team members as assigned and directs daily operations to include staffing, quality improvement, customer service and access.
  • Works collaboratively with the Senior Leadership to ensure operational and financial performance metrics are met.
  • Maintains clinical practice and competency.
  • Serves as an active participant in clinical care by participating in direct patient care and teaching as needed.

Qualifications:

  • CNS, NNP, or PNP certifications required
  • Pediatric focused APP, subspecialty preferred
  • 7-10 years of clinical APP experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required
  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills
