Location: Indianapolis, IN - Specialty: Pathology, Surgical

The Department of Pathology of Indiana University Health Physicians and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine are jointly recruiting an experienced surgical pathologist to be based at the downtown Indianapolis Indiana University Health Central Pathology Laboratory. We seek a pathologist with subspecialty expertise in one or more areas, such as bone and soft tissue, head and neck, or dermatopathology. Experience with quality assurance and inspection and accreditation processes is desirable. The position is on the clinical track; academic rank is determined by qualifications and level of experience.


The department resides in a dedicated laboratory building with first class facilities. There is strong departmental support for translational and clinical research activities should the successful candidate wish to pursue excellence in a subspecialty area of interest. The Pathology group serves ten hospitals, including IU Health Methodist Hospital, IU Health University Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, IU Health West Medical Center, IU Health North Medical Center, IU Health Saxony, IU Health Arnett Hospital, IU Health White County, the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, and Eskenazi Health. The applicant must be certified in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology. Applicants must also be qualified for licensure in the state of Indiana.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy and Sleep Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM)/ Riley Hospital for Children is recruiting for a fourth board-certified/ board-eligible allergist.  Candidates certified in Internal Medicine and/or Pediatrics are both eligible.  Responsibilities include outpatient clinical care, limited inpatient consult services, and the education of students and residents.  Opportunities for faculty development and research are available.
