Key Responsibilities:

  • The Lung Transplant pulmonologist will care for advanced lung disease patients being evaluated for lung transplant with responsibilities in evaluation, pre-txp care including possibly ECMO, post-txp ICU care, and post-txp clinic care. 
  • Care for patients requring ECMO including evaluation and during ECMO support. 
  • Care for post-heart txp and VAD patients in the ICU.
  • Bronchoscopy, Interventional bronchoscopy, and typical ICU procedures

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care
  • Fellowship training in Lung Transplant preferred, but not required
  • One year of transplant experience or significant transplant exposure in fellowship required

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Cardiothoracic Imaging Radiologist. Strong consideration will be given to a chest imager that will further the academic and research interests of the department. The department currently provides services at multiple hospitals and outpatient imaging facilities. The department has a strong collaborative relationship with cardiology that utilizes state-of-the-art equipment for clinical and research imaging. The department hosts a robust fellowship and residency training program.

Applicant must be fellowship trained in cardiothoracic imaging. Tenure track or clinical track faculty appointment available. Minimum requirements include DO or MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana, and radiology board certified or eligible. Additionally, interest or experience in global health, population health/destination services, or IT expertise is desired but not required.

Location: Muncie, IN - Specialty: Radiology, General

General Radiologist

Indiana University Health Physicians and the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a radiologist to fill our open position in our General Radiology Division covering community hospital/imaging center work in North Central Indiana, outside of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. This is a fulltime clinical track position with full benefits. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Excellent interpersonal skills are important in this role. Additionally, a customer-focused approach is essential to accommodate referring health care providers and their patients.

Clinical expertise is desired in plain film radiograph interpretation, abdominal and chest CT imaging, and ultrasound. Candidates with skills in performing light IR procedures will be given strong consideration. Dedicated interventionalists are on-site for more complex procedures.  Off-site subspecialists are also available as needed for diagnostic work. Facility is staffed with a RA for fluoroscopy coverage. Mammography skills are a plus but not required.

Minimum requirements include DO or MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana, and radiology board certified or eligible.
