Location: Indianpolis, IN - Specialty: Nephrology, Transplant

The collegial, professional, and highly-skilled nephrology team at Indiana University Health is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to join as an academic clinician.  IU Health kidney transplant specialists help adult and pediatric patients with end-stage kidney disease through every stage of the transplant experience.  We perform a high volume of kidney transplants and are prepared for any type of case - from the routine to the most complex.  We also have a living kidney donation program for individuals who wish to donate a kidney to someone they know or to someone anonymously.  Our transplant team includes specialized doctors, surgeons, pharmacists, nurse coordinators, social workers and dietitians.  While there are many accomplishments to our transplant program, a few highlights: we have performed kidney transplants for over 50 years at more than 200 transplants per year, comprising 73% of all kidney and kidney/pancreas transplants in the state in 2019. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for nephrology patients that are pre and/or post kidney transplant, pancreas transplant or liver transplant
  • Inpatient rounding, outpatient and outreach clinics
  • Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine, with expectation to teach residents and fellows and opportunities for research if desired

    • Supervise stress testing - this is the majority of the position

Qualifications:

Location: Avon, IN - Specialty: Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine

Indiana University Health has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Emergency Medicine team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. This nights position offers an outstanding practice opportunity and will cover shifts in both the emergency department and the observation unit.   

Position Details:

  • Full time nights schedule
  • 10-12 hour shifts - 8p-6a/6p-6a
  • This full-time provider will work 11-12 shfits per month at full-time employee salary rotating between our Emergency Department and our Observation Unit (~130 hrs per month).  
  • No call
  • Responsibilities include providing excellent clinical care to patients within a fast-paced environment, seeing increased acuity patients over time.  Patients include those who are acutely ill, suffering from life-threatening conditions or injuries.  This position calls for an Advanced Practice Provider who displays efficient management and disposition of multiple patients concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • EM/ICU experience strongly preferred
  • New grads with a rotation in emergency medicine will be considered
  • BC FNP or PA-C required

IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians are actively recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider for our Liberty Street Primary Care office in Bloomington, IN.  This is a large primary care office housed with multi-specialty offices in the heart of scenic Bloomington, IN and we are expanding due to community needs.  It is a great opportunity to work in a close-knit community and to be employed by the second largest physician group within IU Health.  IU Health is the largest most comprehensive health care system in the state of Indiana.  Take advantage of this unique opportunity to join a busy, established and well-respected primary care office in Bloomington, IN!

Position Details:

  • Full time day shift (some flexibility with schedule)
  • Large practice with 4 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers
  • Limited call (home call, 1-2 weeks per year)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in primary care or outpatient specialty office preferred
  • BC ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA-C required
