This individual will be an exemplar through both a personal commitment to the highest quality clinical care in his/her own daily practice as well as in advancing the quality of a team. This leader will have track record of scholarly contributions including peer-reviewed publications and extramural funding. This individual's commitment to excellence in education will be unwavering for all members of the interdisciplinary team, including physician trainees. This leader will work closely with stakeholders and administrative partners in responsibilities that include all aspects of interventional cardiology operations and strategic planning, professional development and continuous improvement of team members, and timely and transparent evaluation and management of quality and professionalism issues.

Position Details:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with on call/some weekend coverage

  • Perform Advanced Heart Failure procedures such as Hemodynamic catheterization, Endomyocardial Biopsies, CardioMems device placement, Cardiopulmonary Exercise testing, etc.
  • Contribute to outreach for the advanced heart failure program that serves a statewide population
  • Partake in the care of patients with Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiogenic Shock, Mechanical Circulatory Support (including ECMO), Cardiac Transplantation, Pulmonary Hypertension and Cardio-Oncology
