General Radiologist

Indiana University Health Physicians and the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a radiologist to fill an open position in our General Radiology Division covering community hospital/imaging center work in North Central Indiana, outside of the Indianapolis metropolitan area.  This is a fulltime clinical track position with full benefits.  Salary and benefits are competitive.

Excellent interpersonal skills are important in this role.  Additionally, a customer-focused approach is essential to accommodate referring health care providers and their patients.

Clinical expertise is desired in plain film radiograph interpretation, abdominal and chest CT imaging, and ultrasound.  Candidates with skills in performing “light IR” procedures will be given strong consideration. Dedicated interventionalists are on-site for more complex procedures.  Off-site subspecialists are also available as needed for diagnostic work.  Facility is staffed with a RA for fluoroscopy coverage. Mammography skills are a plus but not required. 

Minimum requirements include DO or MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana, and radiology board certified or eligible.

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our practice.  This is a full-time position with benefits based at the Academic Health Center in Indianapolis.  Academic and Clinical Track appointments are available. 

Interested candidates should have proficiency in diagnostic musculoskeletal radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography, arthrography and injections, as well as bone and soft tissue biopsy procedures.

All sites are in downtown Indianapolis, in close proximity to each other.

    Candidates with excellent interpersonal skills are desired.  Our Department is committed to multidisciplinary and team-based approaches to patient care.  The Department hosts robust fellowship and residency training programs.  A successful candidate would be expected to work effectively with learners at all levels of training.

    Strong consideration will be given to those who also demonstrate qualities that further the academic and research interests of the Department.  Protected academic time is available for those with active research.  Opportunities for practice building and collaboration abound at the academic health center.

    Proficiency in all neurointerventional procedures (including aneurysm coiling, flow diversion, intra-arterial treatment for stroke, AVM embolization, intracranial and extracranial angioplasty / stenting, vertebral augmentation) is desired.

Job Summary:

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an experienced (minimum of 7 years attending level experience) to serve as Chief of Thoracic Surgery, a section within the Cardiothoracic Surgery Division.  The ideal candidate is thoracic track fellowship trained, ABS and ABTS Board certified, and is skilled in both open and minimally invasive VATS and robotic surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic diseases.  The candidate will join a well-established and experienced team of four thoracic surgeons at Indiana University Health System.  The team provides thoracic surgery coverage currently to five hospitals in the Indianapolis are.  The candidate will participate in the

training and mentoring of residents and fellows in the General Surgery Residency Program and the highly competitive Integrated Thoracic Surgery Residency Training Program (I-6).  The candidate will have access to ample opportunities for translational research in collaboration with the Department of Surgery.  The candidate is expected to take an active role in program development in leadership across several network hospitals.  There may be an opportunity for the candidate to work also on the Pulmonary Transplant Service at Methodist Hospital.
