The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences with Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a breast imaging radiologist for a clinical position.   The position will provide services at multiple academic and community hospitals and outpatient imaging facilities that are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including digital tomosynthesis, automated breast ultrasound and breast MR. 

  • The candidate will primarily work at dedicated breast imaging sites and will be responsible for basic general radiology coverage at some sites during the day and on call.  The department hosts a robust fellowship and residency training program. 
  • In addition to clinical work, responsibilities include teaching and lecturing residents and breast imaging fellows.

General Radiologist

Indiana University Health Physicians and the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a radiologist to fill an open position in our General Radiology Division covering community hospital/imaging center work in North Central Indiana, outside of the Indianapolis metropolitan area.  This is a fulltime clinical track position with full benefits.  Salary and benefits are competitive.

Excellent interpersonal skills are important in this role.  Additionally, a customer-focused approach is essential to accommodate referring health care providers and their patients.

Clinical expertise is desired in plain film radiograph interpretation, abdominal and chest CT imaging, and ultrasound.  Candidates with skills in performing ¿light IR¿ procedures will be given strong consideration. Dedicated interventionalists are on-site for more complex procedures.  Off-site subspecialists are also available as needed for diagnostic work.  Facility is staffed with a RA for fluoroscopy coverage. Mammography skills are a plus but not required. 

Minimum requirements include DO or MD, eligible for licensure in Indiana, and radiology board certified or eligible.

All sites are in downtown Indianapolis, in close proximity to each other.

    Candidates with excellent interpersonal skills are desired.  Our Department is committed to multidisciplinary and team-based approaches to patient care.  The Department hosts robust fellowship and residency training programs.  A successful candidate would be expected to work effectively with learners at all levels of training.
