  • Provide leadership, develop policies, procedures and protocols for patient care and collaborate across multiple departments and divisions at Methodist Hospital

  • Lead a team of intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to the CV Surgery Intensive Care Unit

IU Health Dermatology specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of skin problems and diseases. We offer comprehensive services for acute and chronic skin disorders, including emergency consultations, complete diagnostic evaluations, the latest therapy options and coordinated, long-term care. One of the largest Emergency Ultrasound divisions in the country, we have 8 emergency ultrasound fellowship trained faculty and have three fellowships including: an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship, a Pediatric POCUS Fellowship and a Primary Care POCUS Fellowship. While all members of the division are actively involved in fellow education, each fellowship program has its own dedicated fellowship director. The division is actively involved in leading the development and curricular implementation of a 4-year ultrasound curriculum for medical students within IUSM and a similar program within graduate medical education.

Position Details:

  • Full time, Otolaryngology opportunity with non-academic requirements
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Call: up to 4 weeks a year - includes call from home to provide back up call to residents
  • Typical work week includes 2-3 days of clinic with new and established general ENT patients, 1-2 days in operating room, and a half of day of admin/academic time
  • Responsibilities include clinical duties as well as teaching of surgical residents and medical students
  • 75-100 patients per week
  • Practice includes 15 physicians and 6 APPs
  • Willingness to accept learners, no research requirements
  • 90% outpatient position
  • Immediate high volume patient panel

Minimum job requirements (qualifications)

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Otolaryngology
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
