  • Outpatient surgery clinic with occasional consults in hospital
  • Breast reconstruction and augmentation, abdominal wall reconstruction, local flaps of the face, head, neck, eyelids, ears, nose, and other areas after removal of malignant skin lesions, laser procedures, oculoplastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, revision to previous cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. 
  • Depending on level of experience, could include complex closures, assisting in the OR, and cosmetic procedures (laser facials, hair removal, Botox injections, fillers, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Master’s Degree required
  • Will accept an ACNP, CNS, FNP, or PA
  • Experience in surgery/plastics required
  • Advanced Practice Provider experience required

Key responsibilities

  • Perform wound biopsies
  • Assist in wrapping/dressing wounds pre biospy
  • Participate in several weekly team meetings discussing topics such as research best practices, recruitment, and study supply and equipment needs
  • Potentially cover APPs at IUH CWC locations (Indianapolis and Bloomington)
  • Stay current with all IU Health and IU School of Medicine training and research requirements
