  • Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:

Location: Bloomington, IN - Specialty: Certified Nurse Midwife

Looking for meaningful work to bring much needed healthcare access to high-risk, expectant mothers across the southern region of the state?  Supported by new grant funding, IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife to provide prenatal care and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to pregnant women experiencing substance use disorders across the Bloomington and nearby communities.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prenatal appointments with identified mothers in a patient centering model
  • Prescribe MAT for expectant mothers in need
  • Provide education around pregnancy 
  • Possible procedures include:
    • Speculum visits
    • Nexplanon/IUD services

Employment Details:

  • Part-time position - approximately 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling depending upon patient needs in each outreach community
  • 100% outpatient, NO CALL
  • Work beteween different locations: Monroe County Public Health Clinic (Bloomington), Green County General Hospital (Linton), Indiana Health Center (Spencer), IU Health medical offices (Bedford and Paoli)

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidate will be non-judgemental, possess critical thinking skills and be a team player

  • Schedule:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Supervise stress testing - this is the majority of the position
    • Patient volume varies. APP is expected to see up to 8-10 patients per 4 hour shift
    • Potential opportunity to complete inpatient rounding and consults
    • Collaborate with APP colleagues and attending cardiologist regarding patient needs 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Master’s Degree required

Location: Avon, IN - Specialty: Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine

Indiana University Health has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Emergency Medicine team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. This nights position offers an outstanding practice opportunity and will cover shifts in both the emergency department and the observation unit.   

Position Details:

  • Full time nights schedule
  • 10-12 hour shifts - 8p-6a/6p-6a
  • This full-time provider will work 11-12 shfits per month at full-time employee salary rotating between our Emergency Department and our Observation Unit (~130 hrs per month).  
  • No call
  • Responsibilities include providing excellent clinical care to patients within a fast-paced environment, seeing increased acuity patients over time.  Patients include those who are acutely ill, suffering from life-threatening conditions or injuries.  This position calls for an Advanced Practice Provider who displays efficient management and disposition of multiple patients concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • EM/ICU experience strongly preferred
  • New grads with a rotation in emergency medicine will be considered
  • BC FNP or PA-C required

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Certified
  • 1-3 years experience required
  • 3-5 years experience in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
  • Master’s Degree required
  • Understanding of reporting rules and regulations for Occupational Medicine

IU Health Virtual Behavioral Health is looking to add a supplemental advanced practice provider to its staff in Indianapolis.  The Behavioral Health Hub offers 24/7 access to providers, social workers and therapists for our IU Health hospitals throughout the state.  As part of IU Health's strategic plan to improve the health of Hoosiers by focusing on mental health, we serve our hospitals and provide timely access to behavioral health care needs.
