Qualifications:

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:

  • Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination (administered by NCCAA in collaboration with the National Board of Medical Examiners) and hold a current certification
  • Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:

Indiana University Health Arnett OB/GYN is seeking to add a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to their growing midwife practice located in Lafayette, Indiana. Join a collegial team of 8 OB/ 2 GYN physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and 5 nurse midwives.

Employment opportunity details:

  • Balance of in-patient and out-patient
  • The CNM practice is over a decade strong at IUH Arnett
  • Call schedule: approx. 2 days during week and every 3rd weekend, on call for labor support and deliveries

Position Details:

  • Full-time

    • 7am-6pm; 5 days on/2 days off/7days on/7 days off
  • No call
  • 100% inpatient
  • Complex patient population including urology, nephrology, general GI/ERCP, hepatology, hem-onc  etc.   
  • 40-50 patient encounters per week
  • No procedural requirements
  • Hospitalist team includes 18 physicians and 8 APPs 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of care during daily rounds
  • Providing patient and family education
  • Assessing patients in the Emergency Department for admissions
  • Initiating a workup for diagnosis and implementing a treatment plan
  • Perform medical consults for subspecialty services
  • Co-manage with multiple subspecialty services

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications required
  • If new graduate NP, RN critical care experience required
  • If new graduate PA, hospital medicine clinical rotation required
  • 2 years of APP experience preferred

Riley Hospital for Children is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Early Years Program team! Join a great group of staff and providers working together to provide excellent care. 

The Early Years Program provides feeding, growth, and developmental follow-up care to high-risk infants and young children (ages 0-3 years). This includes premature infants, those requiring major surgery in the neonatal period, and those with medical conditions such as congenital heart disease, genetic conditions, feeding problems, or neurologic anomalies. Our clinics are all staffed by a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, RN clinic coordinator, registered dietitian, psychologists, social workers, speech therapists and/or physical therapists. Patient care is provided as a team and each professional's expertise is valued and respected.

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
  • No call or weekends
  • 20% inpatient work,80% outpatient work
  • Team includes 4 physicians

Key Responsibilities:

  • This provider will provide outpatient treatment for high-risk infants and young children in our Infant Growth and Development clinics. The provider will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to manage patients' oral, NG, and G-tube feeds, weight gain, and development. The provider will also conduct inpatient consults and/or virtual hospital discharge follow-up visits, to improve our hospital-to-clinic transition.

Minimum Requirements:

  • NNP, PNP, or PA certification required
  • 2 years experience working with high-risk infants and young children with special healthcare needs required
  • The ideal candidate will have clinical experience with high-risk infants and young children in one of the following specialties: Neonatology or Developmental Pediatrics.
