Make a difference in the lives of our kids and their families at the only nationally ranked pediatric institution in the state, Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana!  We are seeking a board certified/eligible adolescent medicine physician to join our collaborative team and Indiana University School of Medicine faculty member to provide patient care and serve as a clinician educator.  Riley at IU Health Adolescent Medicine is one of the largest and most active divisions of its kind in the nation for clinical care, research and training.  Dedicated to the care and treatment of young people up to age 21, our fellowship-trained physicians, experienced in caring for the special needs of teenagers and young adults, treat a variety of adolescent health conditions, from eating disorders and reproductive health to sports injuries.  Enjoy being a part of a larger multidisciplinary practice as the adolescent medicine team routinely works with other Riley specialties, including cardiology, hematology, oncology, child development, diabetes, endocrinology, and pediatric/adolescent gynecology. 

Position Details:

  • Work-life balance with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday and NO weekends
  • Outpatient work at the Pediatric Care Center 
  • Consult services during shared call coverage at Riley Hospital for Children
  • Provide specialized care based on interests, including but not limited to:
    • Charis Center for Eating Disorders - the state's most comprehensive program offering the full array of medical, psychological and family services for patients with eating disorders
    • Riley Gender Health Program - the only program in Indiana to meet the needs of transgender and gender non-binary children and adolescents
    • Adolescent Gynecology & Reproductive Healthcare - our specialists evaluate and treat a variety of gynecological conditions as well as consulting with patients and families about fertility perservation for adolescents with complex illnesses

The Riley Children's Health anesthesia team is seeking a patient-focused Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our practice.  The team delivers evidence-based, safe, compassionate and value-based care to pediatric patients in all aspects of anesthesia, perioperative medicine, and acute and chronic pain management.  Our team offers outstanding care and is also committed to leading innovative and personalized perioperative care research, providing high-quality clinical education and improving health outcomes. 

Key Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of inpatient clinical policies that assist IUHP in reaching its goals and objectives
  • Assist IUHP management by providing a clinician's support in IUHP's day-to-day operations
  • Participate in identifying, classifying and obtaining approvals of clinical algorithms in medicine that optimize patient outcomes within IUHP
  • Support IUHP's efforts to establish a positive image for IUHP in the medical community as a group with highly specialized skills
  • Support IUHP's efforts with physician education programs
  • Actively participate in IUHP's efforts to facility improved utilization of management and quality assurance functions within the sub-specialty

The Riley at IU Health Child Protection Program is seeking a Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our expert team of board certified providers to provide evidence-based consultation in cases of suspected child maltreatment. With expertise unmatched in Indiana, the Riley at IU Health Child Protection Program offers multidisciplinary clinical services and education to improve the evaluation and care of maltreated children. Our team offers various services, including the evaluation of suspected child abuse/neglect victims, professional consultation for healthcare providers, child protection services, law enforcement and other professionals, crisis counseling for families, expert testimony in legal settings when required, and professional education as the home to one of the few ACGME-accredited child protection fellowship programs in the nation. Additionally, there are a number of specialized child protection programs offered at Riley, such as the Pediatric Center of Hope, Foster Care Bridge Clinic, and Pediatric Evaluation and Diagnostic Services (PEDS) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staffing PEDS cases, record review, court testimony, consultative services 
  • One half day clinic session per week with specialty based on candidate's interest
  • Shared call coverage split amongst division
  • Consult service only, do not provide long term follow-up care

The Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a patient-focused Pediatric Endocrinologist to collaborate with our highly skilled teams.  Treating thousands of patients each year, Riley diabetes and endocrinology specialists provide expert care for infants, children and adolescents with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.  Part of a nationally ranked program, Riley's board certified endocrinologists have received additional subspecialty training in pediatric endocrinology and pediatric diabetology.  In addition, certified diabetes educators partner with physicians to provide a wide range of educational resources.  

Position Details:

  • Full-time employment
  • Professional components are primarily outpatient with some in-patient rotation coverage
  • Faculty appointment available with the IU School of Medicine

We are seeking a patient-focused Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join and collaborate with our highly skilled teams at the nationally ranked Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The board certified pediatric gastroenterologists and skilled team members at Riley provide expert, personalized care to children with conditions of the digestive tract, liver and pancreas, as well as nutritional issues.  Through comprehensive evaluation, individualized treatment and extensive education, we work with each child to improve health and ensure quality of life.  Our team of 17 specialists (including two hepatologists) leads nationally in research and clinical care, performing more than 2,700 endoscopies and managing over 16,000 outpatient visits each year.

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is expanding to add a general pediatrician to the Weight Management Program.  We are seeking a board certified pediatrician for a clinical track position.  The division has 16 gastroenterologists, 1 nurse practitioner, 3 pediatric psychologists, and many supportive GI dieticians and nurses.  The gastroenterologists see patients at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, IU North Hospital, and satellite locations around the state.  The weight management program is located at the downtown Indianapolis hospital.  The Department of Pediatrics and Division of Gastroenterology support a mission of excellent patient care, education and research.  

Key Responsibilities and Program Details:

  • We are the only comprehensive, multidisciplinary weight management program in Indiana.  We serve a diverse patient population across the state. 
  • The program consists of a pediatric gastroenterologist, general pediatrician, two pediatric psychologists, and two registered dietitians.  We are adding additional team members, including social work and care coordination in the next few weeks to provide more inclusive care for patients.
  • We educate pediatric residents on how to educate and treat children with obesity to lead healthy lifestyles.
  • We participate in the national Pediatric Obesity Weight Evaluation Registry (POWER).  There will be dedicated time for education and scholarly work.
  • The weight management team is collegial, supportive, and passionate about their patients and careers.

Indiana University Health Physicians group is seeking a BE/BC Float Pediatrician to join our established Riley Physicians Pediatrics practice with a highly respected group in Indianapolis, INThis position is unique as the pediatrician will be filling in at our various clinics in the Indianapolis regions, with home base located at the Riley Primary Care Clinic.  This physician will provide valuable feedback related to the operations of each clinic location to help establish best practices.  It provides the opportunity to become familiar with all locations and to find the future best fit.

Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians has an employment opportunity for a general Pediatrician to join our Riley Physicians Arlington practice in scenic Bloomington, IN.  Our collaborative providers provide top quality, patient-focused care in a supportive team environment.  Join an experienced group of providers in a beautiful newer office building just northwest of Bloomington.  This opportunity also offers support from four other preeminent Riley Physicians pediatric offices in the south-central region of Indiana (3 offices in Bloomington, Martinsville, and Bedford).
