Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking an ICU Nocturnist to join their growing Pulmonary Critical Care team at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana!

The new Regional Academic Health Center is scheduled to open in December 2021!

Position Highlights:

  • Join our established Pulmonary Critical Care team including physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Full-time, Nights
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule, 25 weeks per year
  • 100% inpatient
  • Average patient volume in ICU: 12 per day, a mix of medical surgical patients and ICU level of care
  • Responsibilities include admissions, cross coverage, and assisting the hospitalist team with emergencies
  • Procedures are required and include intubations, central lines, and arterial lines (average is about 5 per week)
  • Opportunity to work with medical students and have an adjunct affiliation with IU, if desired

Qualifications:

  • Must be ABIM BE/BC, no additional training required
  • Must have a strong desire to care for ICU patients
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
  • Visa sponsorship available; H-1B only
