The nationally ranked Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician. This physician will provide palliative care across the continuum in the inpatient, outpatient, and home settings caring for children and families. The Interdisciplinary team consisting of 3 physician roles, 2 advanced practice nurses, 2 clinical social workers, a nurse navigator, a senior administrative assistant, fellows, and residents.

The Pediatric Palliative Care Team at Riley Hospital for Children is an interdisciplinary consult-based medical team that includes physicians, advanced-practice nurses, and social workers. This team is dedicated to the mission of helping patients achieve quality of life in the face of life-threatening and/or life-limiting medical conditions and provides assistance in helping patients/families communicate their goals of care with their treatment teams, assists in complicated symptom management, provides an extra layer of support during times of difficulty, and offers guidance in advance care planning and end-of-life/hospice care when appropriate. Our Pediatric Palliative Care team honors the spirit of compassion, empathy, patience and presence as key interventions.
