Looking for meaningful work providing healthcare access to women and expectant mothers in our southern region?  IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our supportive practice of women's health care providers.  This new midwifery practice will not only provide you the opportunity to learn and collaborate with our established physicians and midwife, but will also provide the opportunity experience full scope midwifery in both the outpatient office setting and inpatient needs, building your own patient panel and able to deliver your own patients.  

Employment Details:

  • Full time employment working in both inpatient and outpatient settings at brand new hospital in Bloomington
  • Care for a diverse patient population with some high risk needs given level II NICU 
  • Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    • Vaginal deliveries
    • Prenatal, antepartum and postpartum care

Indiana University Health Arnett is seeking to add a CRNA to our positive, patient centered team in Lafayette, IN(home of Purdue University).

Position details:

  • 3 weeks of 1 on 1 CRNA orientation, rotation through all anesthetizing locations

  • Oversee a team of CVCC-dedicated intensivists and work in collaborative leadership with other CV surgical and medical directors
  • Lead a team of intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to the CV Surgery Intensive Care Unit
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative fashion managing the critically ill patient
  • Develop practice standards and oversee quality metrics for the unit in addition to leading monthly performance improvement meetings
  • Advocate and oversee ongoing professional development for nursing staff and APPs
  • Participate regularly with CV Institute leadership
  • Full-time, 100% inpatient work with critically ill cardiovascular surgical and medical patients
  • Significant teaching and research opportunities, tailored to candidate interest

Qualifications:

  • Must be BC in Critical Care
  • A minimum of five years of cardiovascular surgical experience, required
  • Experience in an academic medical center, preferred
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
