IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians - Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care (Nashville Clinic)


IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in the unique, rural setting of Nashville, IN! 

  • Full-time
  • 36 patient facing hours (4 hours of administrative time)
  • Monday-Friday 
  • One week of call per year
  • 100% outpatient
  • Work directly with 1 physician and 2 advanced providers
  • Patient volume: 100-125 per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat using evidence-based medicine
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to provide care for patients in the office
  • Perform procedures including: Laceration repair, punch biopsies, shave biopsies, minor foreign body removal, I&Ds, skin tag removal, debridement of certain wounds, nasal packing for epistaxis, pap smears, pelvic exams, reading x-rays.

Qualifications:

  • AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
  • 3-5 years of APP experience required
  • 1-2 years of clinic/office experience required
