IU Health Physicians - Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist (Eskenazi Hospital)


The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, in partnership with Eskenazi Medical Group and Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, is seeking a highly qualified Psychiatrist to lead our established consultation-liaison (C-L) service.

Position Details:

  • Join a well-established, supportive team at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, as well as the Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center at Eskenazi Health, a nationally recognized leader in burn care.
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • 100% inpatient work; shared call among faculty
  • Respond to consults from hospitalist, trauma and other inpatient medical teams
  • Supervise and teach medical students, psychiatry residents and C-L fellows
  • Serve as a collaborating physician for the advanced practice providers on the C-L service, including newly added team members
  • Opportunities exist to collaborate with colleagues in ongoing delirium research, early identification of psychiatric need and impact burns on mental health

Qualifications:

  • Residency training in Psychiatry
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
