Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Physicians is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds physician to join our primary care practice in Hartford City, IN. Harford City is a small, community-orientated town with close proximity to Fort Wayne, Muncie, and Indianapolis.

Employment Details:

  • Full Time
  • 85% Outpatient / 15% Inpatient
  • Established patient base available
  • Key responsibilities:
    • Provide care to range of patients from new born to 65+ and various acutites. 
    • Manage messages, labs/test results, consults for independent panel and assist with acute care needs for all clinic patients. 
    • Monitor patient's population health metrics/screenings
  • Procedures performed:
    • Skin tag, leision, wart, cyst removals, suturing
    • Toe nail resection
    • Endoscopy
    • Abscess draining

Hartford City is located in east central Indiana in Blackford County. Hartford City is about 40 miles west of Interstate 75 and 10 miles east of Interstate 69. Hartford City is very close to Ball State University in Muncie, Taylor University in Upland, Indiana Wesleyan in Marion and IVY Tech in both Marion and Muncie.

You will find Hartford City has many fine parks. Recreational facilities are plentiful. Baseball, softball, football and soccer are all available to boys and girls from T-Ball age level on.
